Our near triumph of a bug free map viewer has been trampled by Microsoft’s Internet browser, Internet Explorer (IE).
The Map Sharing API does not work on IE because “onMouse, onMouseDrag, onMouseDragStart, onMouseDragEnd” is not supported. On IE 10 the swipe function still works, however when the user starts to pan the swiperency bar becomes uncalibrated, and a gap between the bar and clipping area occurs.
Panning with Chrome? Works.
Panning with Firefox? Works.
Panning with Internet Explorer? Nope.
On the other hand the website works well and smoothly on both webkit (Chrome, Safari) and gecko-based (Firefox) browsers.
